ADS is proud to inform its customers about products that will benefit both them and the environment. ADS has histrorically introduced products for the dental lab that are non-hazardous, biodegradable, and safe to use, we have always strived to make the work environment safer.
We begin with the highest quality, premium raw materials, which enables our products to do more - with less, are often reusable (multiple treatments with one batch), andlonger lasting.
By offering products in bulk sizes and in concentrate, we encourage customers to "reduce" their own "footprint". Concentrated products that are diluted by the customer, save on weight and less fuel usage.
For its packing material, ADS has used clean newspapers from local printers for over twenty years.
We also have agreements with local distribution companies to pick up clean, unwanted foam peanuts and reuse them.

RELEASE: American Dental Supply, Inc. of Allentown, Pennsylvania is pleased to provide CDK, a caried detection solution, in two popular colors for the restorative dentist. Caries in dentin is the most common cause of dental hard tissue defects. Removal of the caries is the essential first step to provide a sound base for restoration, both functional and aesthetic.
CDK is formulated in two high visibility colors. CDK Red is intensely pink and stained tissue can be easily seen. CDK Green works equally well and provides contrast if the field contains blood. One drop is all that is needed.
CDK provides a highly visible clue by staining infected dentin. This enables the clinician to confidently distinguish which dentin to remove. Current minimally invasive techniques stress the maximum retention of sound tooth structure. CDK has been clinically proven to detect outer and inner carious dentin, and differentiate them from non-infected tissues.
Use of CDK obviously helps prevent overreduction of healthy dentin, but also avoids under-reduction in chronic caries cases. CDK is formulated in a non-toxic medium with ideal viscosity for intra-oral placement. Application takes only 10 seconds from a handy, dropper tipped bottle. It is provided as a kit also containing the special mixing liquid, mixing jar, and instructions. WILKOTE is designed strictly for all types of precious ceramic alloys. It is applied on the surface of the finished casting before the porcelain to produce a warm,lifelike background color.
A superior opaque reflective surface is created which scatters light similar to that of natural dentition. This surface allows the ceramist to achieve optimal aesthetics even on alloys which form the darkest oxides.
WILKOTE also provides an effective seal to the surface of the alloy, preventing any bubbling in porcelain due to porosity, contamination, excess oxides or other difficulties with the alloy.
